On June 15, Assoc.Prof. Dakrong Pissuwan and Ontana Yodnarong visited Beger Co. Ltd. To see how Kanyakorn goes with her internship there. Kanyakorn presented her work and planned to us. As well, it is great opportunity for us to meet Innovation Center Division Manager and her team at Beger Co. Ltd. We have gone well with a strong plan for our research collaboration.
On June 19, we went out to cheer Porntida up for her thesis Thesis award selection at the final round.
We welcome our new member Porlin Chungchaiyart to N-BMR Lab. Porlin is undergraduate student of Materials Science and Nano Engineering International Program at Faculty of Science, Mahidol University. She just finished her second year. During this semester break, she decided to spend time on doing research in an area of using nanomaterials for regenerative medicine. She has started working in N-BMR Lab from June 13, 2019. We are pleased to have her in our team.
Congratulations to Ms. Prontida Wattanakul ! Her Master Thesis entitled “Cellular Response of T Cells Encapsulated with Polyelectrolytes and Gold Nanorods” has passed the first round of the selection process by the committees. She will have an oral presentation for the last step of selection of Distinguished Thesis Awards Fiscal Year 2019. We thank all committees and Faculty of Graduate Studies for organizing this great activity. We wish Ms. Prontida Wattanakul the best of luck for her presentation.
This month, Warissara has started her first day at Kumamoto University with Prof. Takuro Niidome today. We thank for a fantastic care from International Affairs Section of Kumamoto University (Doi San) for organizing University Accommodation and other information for traveling and staying in Kumamoto to Warissara. Jene also has started her training in paint industry with Beger Paint. We would like to thank Beger Co., Ltd. for providing this great opportunity to Jene.
Lastly, Thitima (Ploy) and Wiranchana (Namwan) have started their project on Biological Materials with Prof. Michael Cortie at University of Technology Sydney, UTS. We thank for a great support from Prof. Michael Cortie, School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Faculty of Science. We also thank for a kind administrating work from the School and Faculty over there that absolutely supports our students to do a short research project smoothly.
